Leprosy

Leprosy (leprosy or Hansen's disease), one of the longest accompanying human infectious diseases of the skin and nerves caused by Mycobacterium leprae bacillus, bacteria discovered by a Norwegian scientist Armauera Hansen in 1873. This bacteria is very similar to that which causes tuberculosis.
